Check your savings with dense info

How much has condense saved me so far, and how big is the context in the session I'm running right now? dense info answers both.

dense info

It starts with your account: plan, whether compression is on, and any credit balance. Then your lifetime numbers: requests, tokens before and after compression, and money saved.

If you started your agent through dense, you also get that session: its requests and spend so far, and its current context, as tokens your agent sent against tokens condense forwarded. You can also pass a session ID to look up another of your sessions. Spend can take a few minutes to settle, and the report says when it hasn't.

In Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode, /dense:info prints the same report inside the session, as long as you launched the agent through dense.

With zero data retention on, there's no session section, because those sessions aren't linked to usage records. Your account and lifetime numbers still show.

It needs dense 0.9.0 or later, and dense self update gets you there.
