On Wednesday 2 September we hosted a private dinner in Stockholm for founders and senior leaders. No pitches, no panels. Just good people, good food and real conversation.
Around the table were people from Lovable, Stripe, Einride, Epiminds, Epidemic Sound, Strawberry, Vizrt and Filed. We took the upper floor of a restaurant inside an old church and kept everyone at one long table.
Illia Filipas, Mario Peng Lee and Edvard Sivickij came over from Lithuania for it. Stockholm was our first real test outside our home market, and we had already learned that it's hard to reach decision makers from the office. You have to go and sit down with them.
The idea came from Valerie Wiström, who we met over dinner in Lithuania earlier in the year. Valerie and Sofia Pil hosted the evening with us and brought most of the guests. Thank you both.
It worked. A long evening at one table gave us a real connection with people, and it's the most useful event we've run so far.
